“The Window” is a work of art by Ibarra de la Rosa. He pioneered in the Philippine art scene a meticulous neo impressionist style that is often described as pointillist. Ibarra is noted for his highly impressionistic works that border on the surreal, and his pointillist-like brush strokes where blots of acrylic splashes on canvas which he called “wipings” that lends a pure abstract experience to the audience. |
