Anak ng Magsasaka (Farmer’s son)

In this artwork, we can see a child taking a break with his carabao after a long tiring day of helping his father out on the farm field. Farmers tirelessly work for long hours and they have to deal with extreme weather conditions, pests, and often poor soil quality. Despite all these challenges they continue to produce food for their families and communities. Farmers ensure that we get the food we need to survive. Farmers play an important role in the economy, especially in an agricultural country like the Philippines. We should be grateful to our farmers.
