Pierre F. Patricio, a Filipino artist, embarked on a diverse artistic journey despite initially pursuing engineering and maritime studies. His artistic awakening in Athens, Greece, led him to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a visual artist, culminating in his first solo exhibition. His art, characterized by expressive and universal themes, reflects his positive outlook on life and society. Evolving from figurative to abstract with cubist influences, his work continues to promote Filipino culture globally. Patricio’s sculptures, part of the “Buddy Bears” project supporting UNICEF and child relief organizations, include “The Philippine Eagle,” representing the Philippines worldwide. Having lived in Athens and Berlin for two decades, his art is influenced by diverse cultures. Exhibiting across various cities, from cubism to impressionism and abstract art, Patricio invites viewers to freely interpret his work, emphasizing their engagement with his art. |
