Description

The ART of MYSan is a culmination of a 53-year journey of destruction, experimentation and creation. Having had no formal education in the Fine Arts, everything he does is self-taught . His work evoke the idea of Art for its own sake and urge the viewer to renegotiate preconceived notions of the craft. His approach is one of curiosity and openness. MYSan tackles his work with a rare purity that allows the medium itself to inform the process.

MYSan contemplates mainly in the idea of balance/imbalance, symmetry/asymmetry; thereby creating an aesthetic that is at once perceptual and confrontational. His work may not immediately reference recognizable form, so that the results are deconstructed to the point where meaning is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multifaceted. MYSan considers himself a burgeoning artist with a vast arsenal of interests and whose inspiration is simply the need to create, create and create.
