A pyrographic painting of Jose Rizal, the Philippine’s national hero was donated to the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration by the artist himself, Mr. Niccolo Jose. Mr. Niccolo Jose is a Filipino visual artist and self-taught woodworker who creates sculptures and furnitures out of reclaimed wood. His artworks include three and two-dimensional art, producing watercolor and Japanese ink wash paintings, large scale abstract oil paintings, and blowtorch pyrography. |
