Description

Ang Obra Maestra ng Tatlong Juan is a creative collaboration of three Filipinos living in Xiamen, China. It combines three art forms – photography, painting, and movement/ dance. The photographer took a picture of a painter painting a depiction of Filipino jumping for joy in a splash of colors to celebrate Philippine Independence. The work depicts the lives of 3 Juans (Filipinos) in China.

It shows the nature of Overseas Filipinos (OFs) working hard for their families back home but also enjoying a joyful and meaningful life through the expression of their artistry. The photograph aims to inspire other Filipinos to be proud of their culture and resiliency amidst these challenging times.
